Tell us a little bit about your location and how it has influenced your design.

I was born and raised in Torrance, which is a beach city in Southern California about an hour south of Los Angeles. The South Bay has a fairly large rock scene, so

by the time I was out of high school I had joined a band, and started meeting TONS of people with the same interests as me from various different bands. Being a part of that culture has been a great experience and molded my personality and style.

I now live in Hollywood which is full of interesting textures (and plenty of interesting people) to pull inspiration from.

Who are your biggest artistic (music/design) influences?

Wow ... You could ask me this question tomorrow and the list could potentially be different, but here we go!  Music: Glassjaw, Radiohead, Tool, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, Rush, Nine Inch Nails, Deftones.  Art/Design: David Carson, Banksy, Shepard Fairy, Stefan Sagmeister, Alex Pardee, Jacob Bannon, Emek Golan.

Which bands have you done work for, and which project(s) have you enjoyed working on the most?

I have had the great pleasure of working for System of a Down, Deftones, Alice in Chains, Cypress Hill, The Fall of Troy, Band of Horses and a slew of other bands. The most fun I had working on any of these, hands down goes to the Deftones web work I did. I made 3 websites for them. One for when they were between albums, and two for the hype up period of their album "Diamond Eyes". I always listen to a band's music when I am designing for an artist, so blasting "White Pony" was a part of my job description at the time. It honestly doesn't get any better than that!
